Assessment Returns
The 2025 Assessment Return is available to Municipalities in electronic form on MySAMA. Although the electronic Assessment Return form is formatted differently than the paper version, all required information remains the same.

Assessment Returns
The 2025 Assessment Return is available to Municipalities in electronic form on MySAMA. Although the electronic Assessment Return form is formatted differently than the paper version, all required information remains the same.
The 2025 Assessment Return (paper form) includes two inserts to help municipalities submit all required information to SAMA for annual roll confirmation. The Did You Remember insert is a reminder of items to complete before submitting the Assessment Return to SAMA. A Sample Return is included to provide an example of a completed return. Copies of these documents are available to Municipalities in the FAQ – Roll Confirmation section of MySAMA and can be downloaded below:
Primary Audit Requirements

Secondary Audit Requirements
Pursuant to section 22.1(4) of The Assessment Management Agency Act, the information that the agency considers necessary for a Secondary Audit will be communicated on initiation of a Secondary Audit.
